She possesses an intense admiration of ancient Egyptian antiquities, a constant love of travel and a firm belief that travel enhances people's lives and broadens their minds. This has altered her life path from working for the UNESCO office in Cairo to a professional career in the tourism industry in Egypt.
Since 1991, she has been working as a certified Egyptologist, mainly with American and British tour operators. As an Egyptian-Canadian citizen, she had the opportunity to work as a Director of Sales for two highly respected Egyptian travel companies for almost 10 years. She was responsible for promoting Egypt in the North American market through her contacts with wholesaler tour operators. |
Over the years she expanded her knowledge in both areas. She decided to combine her experience and passion for her homeland with the expertise of one of the most renowned Operations Managers, Khaled Baheer, whose name is highly respected in the tourism sector. He graduated from the American University in Cairo (AUC), with a degree in Economics, and 30 years of experience in tourism. Ten of these years he spent with Abercrombie & Kent, Egypt. He has been supervising the operations of two American tour operators for many years. Both rank among the world’s top travel companies by National Geographic and Travel + Leisure.
We both work through a reputable, licensed tour company which was founded thirty years ago by one of Egypt’s pioneers in the travel industry. The company’s main office is in downtown Cairo, with its subcontractors in other major Egyptian cities. That enables us to watch over our clients every step of the way, and ensure that every detail of the itinerary is perfectly executed. It is also an accredited member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), which facilitates the confirmation of domestic and international bookings with competitive rates.
